Term 2 Week 8 Activities!!

9th May, Tuesday - Technical Dry Run

All Guitarists:

Report at 4pm at school auditorium. Bring your belongings, guitar and scores all to the auditorium. More instructions will be given there =). Dry Run will end at 8pm. JC1s may be released earlier when tasks are completed.

Bring $10 for the strings if you ordered (very good quality at 17% off! U.P $12 =P). Those who ordered tuners please bring $40 first cause can't confirm pricing yet and when will be delievered.

Prepare your black file with scores properly filed (those needed only and in order of your pieces)

Drama Team, Backstage Screw (Logistics Team), Emcees will need to report at allocated timing by respective exco members in charge.

JC1s:

-Get into your sections in groups and tune your guitar, do finger exercise scaling etc when reached. Previous group SLs please be in charge.

- We will confirm your seating arrangement tt day and take note yourself. Be sure to keep a look out for those who are not there. Movement in and out of the stage must be confirmed.

- after that will be allowed to practice love story. The piece need to be memorised asap.

- Remember to pay $ for strings and tuners, collect them before going.

- Some will be asked to take up roles as percussionists for JC2 pieces

JC2s:

- All pieces will be run through. Individuals are to take note sitting arrangements for different pieces. Note the scores whom u are sharing with and make sure if you want notes on them, do coordinate with your partner.

- Note your pieces by highlighting your appendix. Will help to keep track of correct sequence of your appearance on stage.

- We will try out all the pieces with percussion (e.g el vito, facurra, maliendo cafe, yakaa etc). Prepare to take on roles of percussionists too =)

- Mr Alex wants to work out those niibori players playing Haru Ga Kita. Those few tt i have talk to please take note and remind me to give out the scores.

Backstage Crew - Contact your Logistics IC if unsure of time to report. your role is crucial for the technical dry run to flow well =). Please take note of the logistics arrangement for different intervals of pieces too.
